A lifelong love of music making…

My goal as a teacher is to instill in my students a lifelong love of music making. Our studio is a safe place for students to explore, experiment, make mistakes, and grow as people and artists. As a teacher of the Suzuki Method, I prioritize building up the whole person, not just the musician.

Students of our studio develop character qualities like:

  • diligence

  • kindness

  • integrity

  • professionalism

  • self-confidence

While our main goal is to become skilled and thoughtful violinists, the lessons my students learn through their study of the violin will help them in other areas of their lives.

“The potential of every child is unlimited.” - Dr. Shinichi Suzuki

Our studio provides a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for children to learn the fundamentals of violin playing. I teach my young beginners according to the Suzuki method, in which technique, song, and ear training are interconnected components of a complete musical education. In our lessons, children will learn proper posture, form, technique, and musical concepts through games and song.

What families are saying…

As a member of our studio, your child will:

  • develop fundamental skills and artistic concepts you can continue to build upon throughout your musical career

  • learn strategies to approach challenges in practice and in life

  • get experience performing and sharing music with your community

  • have a personal cheerleader (me!) who will uplift you through all your music milestones — big or small!
